The Suit   Leave a comment

Having seen ‘Day of the Doctor’ and ‘The End of Time’ now in quick succession, I can say with confidence:

Sorry, David. The suit doesn’t fit.

It’s amazing how much a person changes in just a few years. I was startled too by how different Rose looked in S4 vs S2 – and that was barely more than a year! Yeah, the young change fast. And I couldn’t quite put my finger on what was different. She looked slimmer – hollowed cheeks, the baby roundness gone – but I couldn’t tell if it was my imagination, or if was makeup, or if the girl just grew up.

Ten, sorry again David, just gained weight. It happens when you pass 40. His cheeks rounded out, his angular cheekbones almost vanished, and his jacket strained at the buttons. Obviously he’s still a very slender man; just less so at 42 than he was a few years earlier.

I also wonder what he was shooting before and after the anniversary special that required him not to cut his hair.

ETA re: hair: I think he was prepping for Richard II and needed every millimeter he could get.
